Talented English-born Ghanaian teenager, Josh-Kofi Acheampong, has officially signed his first professional contract with Premier League powerhouse Chelsea.

The emerging star, who represented England U-17, commits to the club until the summer of 2026.

Having been part of Chelsea's youth system since the age of 8, Acheampong's journey to professionalism has been nurtured within the Blues' ranks.

Jim Fraser, Head of Youth Development and Recruitment, expressed the club's excitement, stating, "We are thrilled that Josh has committed his future to the club. He has taken another step forward in his development this season, something reflected in his performances for club and country."

The versatile defender notably contributed to the England U17 team's campaigns in both the Euro and FIFA U17 World Cup tournaments.
