Ghana attacker Jonathan Sowah displayed a remarkable performance by scoring four goals when Al-Nasr Benghazi secured a big win over Al Hilal Benghazi in the Libyan Premier League on Monday.
Sowah was at his usual best with four goals to ensure Al-Nasr Benghazi a 6-3 victory over Al Hilal Benghazi at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium.
The former Medeama SC talismanic forward netted two classy goals and brilliantly converted two spot-kick to aid his side in the demolition exercise in the city of Benghazi.
The 25-year-old opened the scoring as early as the 3rd minute when he scored from the spot. He converted another penalty three minutes later to double the lead for Al-Nasr.
He was on the scoresheet again in the 72nd minute while the remaining two goals came from defender Mohamed Eshtewi and Tunisian player Mohamed Ali Jouini.
Sowah has now notched up five goals and provided an assist in seven league appearances for Al-Nasr since joining from Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC during the January transfer window.
It has been reported in the local media that Jonathan Sowah has been included in Ghana's squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic in June.
