TSG Hoffenheim have confirmed Kasim Adams is leaving the club on mutual grounds after his contract expired, the Bundesliga side announced on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old joined 'Die Kraichgauer' in 2018 from Swiss top tier outfit BSC Young Boys, but failed to live up to expectation as his time at the club has been marred by series of injuries, making only 13 Bundesliga appearances during his debut season.
In his 6-years stay at Hoffenheim, he featured in 29 Bundesliga games, three DFB Cup games, two Champions League games, and four Europa League games.
Hoffenheim's managing director, Alexander Rosen, commented on the disappointing outcome of Adams time at the club, saying: "In the case of Kasim, we must openly admit that the commitment did not work out for either side from a sporting perspective,"
"His time with us had few sporting highlights, despite his consistently impeccable and professional conduct," he added.
