Italian-born Ghanaian footballer Mike Aidoo has recently inked his first professional deal with the renowned Serie A team, Inter Milan, Kickgh.com understands.
Aidoo, at 18 years old, was born in Italy to Ghanaian parents and had been part of the Chievo youth system before joining Inter Milan in 2021. His journey began in the U-15 side, where he showcased his skills and earned a promotion to the U-17 side, attracting attention from major European teams due to his outstanding performances.
Primarily a right-back, Aidoo occasionally takes on the role of a right-winger, utilizing his explosive playing style. Having just signed with Inter Milan, he aspires to climb the ranks, starting from the Primavera side.
After impressing with Chievo in the Primavera League, Aidoo's stellar performances earned him a call-up to the Italy U-16 national team for the Centro Coni Tirrenia in Marina di Pisa in June 2021, just before making the move to Inter Milan.
He has committed to a four-year contract with Inter Milan, set to conclude in June 2027.
