Promising Ghanaian talent Frank Iruzie has joined Lithuanian club FK Sirijus Klaipėda on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old left-back, who developed at Frienhoff Football Academy, hopes to gain more experience and continue his growth in Europe.
Iruzie becomes the second player from the academy to move abroad this year, showing the club’s growing reputation for producing talented players.
Before this move, the defender had a trial with Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo.
FK Sirijus Klaipėda, who play in Lithuania’s top division, are expected to give the young defender the chance to show his ability and take the next step in his career.
His transfer also shows Frienhoff Football Academy’s effort to create opportunities for its players to develop and succeed at a higher level. The academy has built a strong reputation for developing talented footballers.
