Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan was on target again as Amedspor recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory over Istanbulspor in Turkish 1.Lig round 30 clash.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring in the 34th minute before Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne doubled the advantage just five minutes later to give the visitors a comfortable 2-0 lead in the interval.

Defender Mehmet Yeşil added the third goal two minutes into recess to effectively seal the win as Amedspor dominated the larger aspect of the game.

The Ghanaian attacker is currently enjoying a fine run of form, having now scored in two consecutive matches and three goals in his last four games for the club.

Across the season, Afena-Gyan has now registered 10 goal involvements, scoring five goals and providing five assists for Amedspor.

The convincing victory keeps Amedspor firmly in the promotion race as they sit third on the league table with 61 points, and will look to maintain their momentum when they host Manisa FK in the next round of matches.
