The 20-year-old centre-half was diagnosed with the injury setback by the Los Maños team medics after undergoing a successful medical assessments on Wednesday 

Ghanaian defender Yussif Saidu has suffered from a knee injury, according to his club Real Zaragoza, having missed their clash with FC Andorra in the Spanish LaLiga2 over the weekend.

The Dansoman Wise XI FC youth star is set to spent time in the treatment room as he begins with his conservative treatment to his recovery for the subsequent days.

A statement confirming the knee injury of the Ghanaian prospect guardsman reads via the club's official website: ''Tests performed on player Yussif Saidu have determined that he has an injury to his left knee.

''Following the relevant evaluation by the Real Zaragoza medical services, together with the player himself, it has been decided that he will begin conservative treatment with the aim of returning to the group dynamic as soon as possible.

''All medical information provided by the club is given with the supervision and consent of the players suffering from said ailments.''

Before sustaining the injury plight, Saidu took in 20 appearances for Real Zaragoza across all competitions in this current 2025-26 football season.

The Accra-born native is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana senior national team on the international stage.
