Ghanaian forward Kelvin Boateng scored, but Austria Vienna suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Salzburg led early through Kerim Alajbegovic and doubled their advantage via Karim Konate before Boateng pulled one back in the 61st minute.
Karim Onisiwo quickly restored Salzburg’s two-goal cushion to seal victory.
Boateng now has three goals in 15 league appearances this season, while Ghanaian youngster Edmund Baidoo remained an unused substitute for Salzburg.
