An official statement confirming the Ghana-prospect attacking midfielder first professional contract reads: ''Bayer 04 youth player Jeremiah Mensah has signed a professional contract that will keep the attacking midfielder in Leverkusen until 30 June 2031.''

Right after inking his long-term deal, the promising teenage sensation has said to his club's official website: ''Getting to sign a long-term professional contract at this super club makes me so proud. I’ll try to remain alert, learn from the many top players and keep improving.''
Sporting director Simon Rolfes added:''Jeremiah has shown his qualities in our youth teams many times and has developed really well over the years. We back Jeremiah to establish himself with the first team in the long term and be able to make his mark there.''
Director of football Kim Falkenberg also added on the Germany U19 international as a “real homegrown product, meaning it’s even greater to see a player with excellent prospects at Bayer 04.”

Mensah has so far taken in 28 appearances by racking up 8 goals and setting up another 1 for Bayer Leverkusen across all contests in this current football season.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the evergreen midfielder remains fit to play for Ghana national football team at the international level after featuring for the Germany national youth teams.
