Ghana international Christopher Bonsu Baah has been named Staff Player of the Year at Al Qadsiah following an outstanding debut season in the Saudi Pro League.

The winger impressed throughout his first campaign after joining from Genk last summer, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in the squad.

Bonsu Baah featured in 32 league matches, contributing directly to 15 goals with three strikes and 12 assists, underlining his attacking influence for the Saudi side.

The Black Stars forward had earlier been recognised with the club’s April Player of the Month award, further highlighting his consistency across the season.

His performances earned him the prestigious internal accolade during Al Qadsiah’s end-of-season awards, capping a highly successful first year at the club.

In addition to his league contributions, he also appeared in the Saudi King’s Cup and the Super Cup, registering one assist in four combined appearances.

Al Qadsiah finished the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season in fourth place following a campaign that also saw managerial changes, including the appointment of Brendan Rodgers at a point during the season.

Bonsu Baah will now turn his attention to international duty as Ghana continue preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign, with a friendly against Wales on the horizon.
