Ghanaian defender Abdul Rahman Baba has been honored with a place in the Greek Super League Team of the Season for 2023/24, following his exceptional contributions to PAOK FC's title-winning campaign.
The dynamic left-back was instrumental in PAOK’s historic season, which saw the club secure the Greek championship for the first time since 2018/19. Baba’s influence was felt on both ends of the pitch, demonstrating his defensive reliability and offensive prowess.
In the league, he featured in 28 matches, scoring five goals and providing three assists, often stepping up in pivotal moments to deliver for his team. His ability to balance defensive duties with attacking contributions made him a standout performer.
Baba’s impact extended to European competition, where he played a key role in PAOK’s UEFA Europa Conference League campaign. Appearing in nine matches, he scored once and added an assist, helping the team reach the quarter-finals.
This recognition marks a resurgence in Baba’s career, highlighting his importance to PAOK and solidifying his status as one of Ghana’s top football talents.
Since the start of the 2024/25 season, Baba has continued to shine, scoring seven goals in 22 appearances across all competitions.
