Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy has spoken highly of Black Stars defender Tariq Lamptey who netted a beauty in their 2-2 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion over the weekend.
Lamptey, who lasted the full duration of the game, opened the scoring for the Seagulls with a stunning strike in the 37th minute of the game.
Yakubu Minteh doubled the lead in the second half but two late goals from Jamie Vardy and Bobby Decordova-Reid salvaged a point for the home side.
In a post-match presser, the Dutch gaffer lauded Tariq Lamptey for the sumptuous goal and was very satisfied with the results.
"The first one was top corner, and you have to compliment Lamptey for a brilliant goal."
Lamptey has scored two goals and provided two assists for Leicester City in the Premier League this season so far.
