Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim are reportedly eyeing German-born Ghanaian left-back Anton Donkor from Second-Tier outfit Schalke 04, a report has claimed in the German media.
The 27-year-old has caught the eyes of the Rhein-Neckar-Arena campaigners so far this season and are working assiduously to reinforce their defensive line options with his capturing ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
Per German outlet FT, the ex-Everton U23 loanee could link up with the German top-flight outfit in a deal worth 2.5 million euros as the Gelsenkirchen club are ready to cash in on him in the summer.
Donkor has so far figured in 21 games across all competitions for Schalke 04 in this current 2024-25 football campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany U18 & U20 national youth teams.
