The 25-year-old former Hannover 96 defender has emerged as a transfer target for the Russian top-flight outfit
Ghanaian left-back Derrick Köhn is currently being courted by Russian Premier League giants FC Spartak Moscow.
The ex-Hamburger SV youth star, currently on the books of Turkish outfit Galatasaray, is a wanted man at the Lukoil Arena, with an official approach over his services currently in place between his suitors and mother club.
Reports from the Turkish media have claimed that the Russian heavyweights have tabled an offer for Derrick, but has knocked it back as it was below his valuation of €2.5m per season over his personal terms.
It's now believed that the Moscow-based club are readying themselves to return with an improved bid as they are hell-bent to secure his services in this current transfer window.
His contract with the lstanbul-based club will expire in June 2026 and as per his transfermarkt valuation, the Russian superpower outfit are to splash €6m on his head if they are to land him this summer.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, Derrick remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany U19 national youth team.
