Swiss Super League club Servette FC has bolstered its defensive lineup by signing Ghanaian international Kasim Adams Nuhu.

The experienced centre-back's contract is for one year, with an option to extend for an additional year at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Servette FC confirmed the acquisition on Friday, August 30, expressing their excitement over the significant addition to their squad. In their official statement, the club noted, “Servette FC strengthens its defense with the experienced Kasim Adams Nuhu.

The 29-year-old central defender has already played for YB and FC Basel in Switzerland and more recently for Hoffenheim in Germany.”

The club added, “Servette FC announces today the engagement of Kasim Adams. This solid central defender has signed a contract for one season plus an option for one. The prerequisites are the residence permit and the work permit, which still have to be obtained.”

Servette FC also expressed their enthusiasm about welcoming Adams to Geneva, stating, “Servette FC is delighted to welcome Kasim to Geneva and wishes him a magnificent season in its colours.”

With a wealth of experience across European leagues, Kasim Adams is expected to make a significant impact at Servette FC. His strong performances could also put him back on the radar for a potential call-up to the Black Stars under head coach Otto Addo.
