Werder Bremen have confirmed the signing of Ghana defender Derrick Arthur Kohn on a season long loan deal.
The German-born Ghanaian joins from Turkish Super Liga side Galatasaray, as there's an option for Werder Bremen to sign the play on permanent basis.
“Werder Bremen have brought in a new player on the final day of the summer transfer window, with Derrick Köhn joining the Green-Whites on a season-long loan deal from Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray," the club announced in a statement.
“Both clubs have agreed to include an option to buy in the contract following the expiry of the loan.”
During the 2023-24 season, Kohn fatured in 13 Turkish Super League games, scoring one goal and managing two assists since joining in February from Hannover.
