Danish club Odense Boldklub has secured the services of Leeroy Owusu, a Dutch-Ghanaian full-back, who has signed a three-year contract with the team.

The 26-year-old recently left Willem II after his contract expired and will now join Odense Boldklub. Director of Football Björn Wesström expressed his excitement about the signing, stating, "With Leeroy, we are acquiring a versatile defender who can perform on both sides of the field.

As an experienced player in his prime, we have high expectations that he will immediately showcase his best football. Throughout the scouting process, I observed Leeroy's professionalism and strong desire for personal and player development. We eagerly await the start of the new season and working with Leeroy."

Leeroy Owusu has had a longstanding presence in Dutch football, having joined the AFC Ajax academy at the young age of seven and playing until the U21 level.

He has also represented various Dutch clubs, including De Graafschap and Excelsior. In total, he has amassed over 300 appearances in the top Dutch leagues, with 99 of those coming in the Eredivisie. Now, Leeroy is prepared to face fresh challenges in Denmark.

Leeroy Owusu is expected to commence training with his new teammates on June 26.
