The 24-year-old who comes from a family of footballers as he revealed that former Black Stars defender Hans Adu Sarpei and Edward Sarpei are his uncles.
"Yes he (Hans Adu Sarpei) is my uncle. Football runs in our family so when I was young I was already playing football. It’s like a gift that has been given to me," he told Citi Sports.
"This is my destiny, to play football. My dad also played, my other uncle (Edward Sarpei) also played so it’s in the family,”
Nunoo Sarpei featured in 33 games in all competitions in the 2022-2023' 2. Bundesliga season, were he netted a goal and snatched an assist.
