Ghanaian defender Philip Osei has extended his stay with Tercera Federación club CD Don Benito ahead of the start of the 2026-27 football season.
The 26-year-old centre-back, who linked up with the Don Benito based club in the summer of 2025, has excelled much to the satisfaction of the club's hierarchy in the recently ended season, with such efforts now being rewarded with a new deal over a renewal this summer.
ln announcing the contract extension of the hard-tackling defender, those management the administrative affairs of the club have said via a social media platform, lnstagram: ''𝐎𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 @philip_osei_k will continue to defend the colors of the CD Don Benito one more season. Quality, experience and work at the service of the team to achieve the goals. We're still together!''
Osei has a considerable experience in the Spanish lowly division contests after having stint with CF Rayo Majadahonda in his career so far.
He is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana national football team at the senior level on the international stage.
