Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei was on target for Leyton Orient as they beat Cheltenham Town FC in the English lower tier league.

The English-born Ghanaian forward played a crucial role, providing a vital assist in the 85th minute, which helped Leyton Orient secure their lead and ultimately seal the victory.

Before the game, Cheltenham Town held the upper hand in head-to-head encounters, with four wins compared to Leyton Orient's two victories and one draw. However, the O's were determined to change this trend. The match unfolded at the Gaughan Group Stadium, where Agyei entered the field in the 70th minute, substituting Khayon Edwards.

The scoring action began in the 34th minute when Ethan Galbraith unleashed a powerful right-footed shot from outside the box, finding the top left corner of the net, assisted by George Moncur. Just before halftime, Ollie O'Neill extended Leyton Orient's lead with a superb right-footed strike from the left side of the box, with an assist from Jordan Brown.

Agyei's moment of brilliance arrived in the 85th minute. His precise pass set up Ruel Sotiriou, who fired a right-footed shot from outside the box, finding the bottom right corner of the goal.

Despite a late consolation goal by Joe Nuttall for Cheltenham Town in the 97th minute, Leyton Orient held firm to secure a well-deserved victory.

This season, Agyei has featured in 13 games, scoring four goals, and providing two assists in League One.
