Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei played a pivotal role in Leyton Orient’s commanding 4-1 victory over Stockport County in English League One action on Saturday afternoon.
Starting the match and contributing for 84 minutes, Agyei was instrumental in the win at Edgeley Park, netting one goal and providing an assist as Leyton Orient dominated the game.
The visitors got off to a flying start, with Ethan Galbraith scoring twice in the first 17 minutes to put Leyton Orient ahead 2-0 at halftime. Stockport County fought back in the second half, with Jack Diamond pulling one back in the 50th minute.
However, Agyei quickly restored Leyton Orient’s two-goal cushion with a crucial strike, before assisting Sean Clare’s 81st-minute goal, which sealed the comprehensive victory.
This performance marked Agyei's first goal and assist of the season, and he will be eager to build on this momentum as the season progresses.
