Ghanaian winger Edmund Baidoo was the star of the show on Wednesday afternoon, delivering a match-winning performance as Red Bull Salzburg U19 secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sparta Praha U-19 in an explosive UEFA Youth League encounter at the Football pitch Lokomotiva Praha (Prague).

Baidoo did not only dazzle but also provided a crucial assist that helped Salzburg scooped all the maximum points at stake.

Salzburg took the lead early in the game through Baidoo's magic, but Vojtech Hranos magic inspired Sparta's comeback in the 52nd minute.

The visitors regained the lead in the 55th minute when Marc Striednig capitalized on a loose ball, rifling the ball into the back of the net from close range.

Moments later,  Zeteny Jano - who subbed off Edmund Baidoo in the 60th minute notched the third goal for Salzburg in the 64th minute.

Sparta fought back once again, and just in the 67th minute, Roman Mokrovics's deft stunner made it 2-3.

Despite Sparta's pressure, Salzburg held on for a crucial victory, with goalkeeper Salko Hamzic also making a number of key saves to secure the win.
