Ghanaian defender Kofi Yeboah Schulz has completed his switch to Iranian club Mes Rafsanjan on a free transfer.
The German-born Ghanaian has penned down a 1-year deal with the Middle Eastern club with an option to extend.
"The German defender of Tirol club, who was in the Austrian league last season, has joined Mes Rafsanjan. Experienced and high-ranking German defender Kofi Yeboah Schulz joined the orange team with the opinion of Navidkia and signed a contract for one season," Mes Rafsanjan announced his acquisition.
Kofi Schulz, 35, started his career with SV Nord Wedding 1893 and went on to play for Hertha BSC youth team, Milton Keynes Dons FC, FC St. Gallen and a host other Swiss and German club's before moving to Greece and Austria to feature for SKU Amstetten, SKN St. Pölten, WSG Tirol.
The 35-year-old highly rated left-back is expected to bring his experience onboard and take charge of the defense as Mes Rafsanjan, who finished tenth in the Iranian Pro League last season intends to improve on their performance.
