Azerbaijani Premier League club Qarabag has officially signed Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai from Spanish second-tier side Alcorcón.
The 23-year-old has inked a three-year contract with Qarabag, which will keep him at the club until 2027.
The club announced the transfer on their official website, expressing excitement over the acquisition of the dynamic winger.
“Our club has completed its latest transfer: negotiations with Spain's Alcorcón have concluded positively, and attacking midfielder Emmanuel Addai has been signed,” Qarabag stated.
Addai brings experience from his time with Alcorcón, where he played from 2022 to 2024, and from his previous stint with French club Bobigny during the 2021-2022 season.
In response to the transfer, Alcorcón released a statement thanking Addai for his contributions, saying, “We would like to thank Emmanuel Addai for his commitment, effort, and attitude throughout his time with us. This will always be your home. Good luck with your new challenge, Addai!”
