Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng played a key role in Al-Orobah FC's 1-0 victory over Al Fateh FC in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday evening.
Starting the match at the Al-Jouf University Stadium, Boateng remained on the pitch for the full 90 minutes, proving instrumental to his team's success.
Despite Al Fateh's dominance in possession, it was Al-Orobah who capitalized on their chances, with Boateng playing a decisive part.
The breakthrough came in the 51st minute when Boateng delivered a perfectly timed through ball to former Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, who slotted home a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner. This assist marked Boateng’s first of the season, complementing his tally of one goal in four league appearances.
Al-Orobah’s triumph lifts their spirits as they prepare for their upcoming King's Cup clash against Al Qadasiya on September 22, where they will aim to extend their winning run.
