Ghanaian winger Isaac Nuhu made an impactful start to the Belgium Challenger Pro League, scoring in KAS Eupen's 3-0 win over Club Liège on Sunday, August 18.
The 22-year-old netted the second goal of the match, helping to secure a comfortable lead as Eupen aims for a swift return to the Jupiler Pro League.
Nuhu was substituted by David Widlarz with seven minutes left, by which time the result was firmly in hand.
Renaud Emond opened the scoring with a penalty, placing his right-footed shot into the bottom right corner. Nuhu then doubled Eupen’s lead, converting from the left side of the six-yard box following a set-piece situation.
Regan Charles-Cook completed the scoring with a strike from the center of the box, finding the top right corner after Nathan Bitumazala's assist during a quick counterattack.
The win marked a strong start for both KAS Eupen and Nuhu in their campaign for promotion.
