Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew sustained an head injury in their 2:1 victory against Leeds United in the English Premier League.
Ayew collided with Leeds defender Robin Koch from a corner just before the break.
Sky Sports coverage reported that Jordan Ayew needed five stitches above his eye brow on the turf.
The 31-year-old surprisingly was deem fit to continue the game before he was substituted on the 65th minute for Tyrick Mitchell.
He has featured in eight games with one assist in the EPL this season.
Jordan Ayew is expected to join the Black Stars to Qatar for the World Cup next month.
Crystal Palace are 15th with nine points after nine games, with a game in hand.
