Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori has been named in Sofascore's Slovakian Super Liga Team of the Week following a standout performance that helped Spartak Trnava secure a vital 3-1 win over Zemplin Michalovce in Round 13.
Despite a difficult start, which saw Spartak's goalkeeper Vantrub make an error leading to an early goal by Alexandros Kiziridis, Ofori's clinical performance turned the tide. After Zemplin took the lead in the 11th minute, Ofori equalized in the 66th minute, finishing a well-placed cross from Mikovič.
The goal lifted Spartak, with Philip Azango putting them ahead just minutes later. Ofori sealed the victory in the 88th minute with a stunning left-footed shot, his second goal of the game, to make it 3-1. This performance brought Ofori's season tally to six goals in nine appearances, reinforcing his importance to the team.
Spartak Trnava will face Kormano in their next match on November 9th as they continue their push at the top of the league standings.
