Ghanaian forward Mark Assinor delivered a match-winning performance as LNZ Cherkasy secured a vital 2-0 away victory over Epitsentr Kamianets-Podilskyi in the Ukrainian Premier League on Saturday.
The 25-year-old attacker started and played the full 90 minutes at Stadion Avanhard in Rivne, scoring both goals to guide his team to all three points. Assinor opened the scoring in the 41st minute after a precise assist from Yevgeniy Pastukh, calmly finishing inside the box to give Cherkasy the lead at halftime.
Early in the second half, Assinor doubled the advantage, showcasing his composure and attacking instinct to effectively seal the win.
Since joining Cherkasy in 2024, Assinor has become a pivotal figure for the side, with his brace taking his season tally to five goals in 16 league appearances, highlighting his growing influence on the team’s attacking play.
