ENGLAND

In the Premier League, Antoine Semenyo played 87 minutes for Manchester City in their narrow 2-1 home win over Newcastle United to boost their league winning hopes. 

In the Championship, tere was no Ghanaian involvement on the pitch in Hull City’s 1-3 home loss to Queens Park Rangers as Darko Gyabi missed out through injury and Kwame Poku was left out of the match-day squad.

At the bet365 Stadium, Stoke City drew 2-2 with Leicester City. Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi featured for Stoke, while both Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew were absent from the Foxes’ squad.

At The Hawthorns, Brandon Thomas-Asante returned from his three-match suspension and played the final 12 minutes for Coventry City in their 0-2 win over West Brom to maintain top-spot. 

In Norwich City’s 1-2 home loss to Birmingham City, Ghana youth star Ibrahim Osman came on in the 67th minute for the visitors. 

It was a strong Ghanaian representation at Vicarage Road where Watford beat Derby County by 2-0. James Abankwah and Kwadwo Baah both featured for Watford, while Patrick Agyemang also saw action for the visitors. 

In League One, Plymouth Argyle claimed a 5-2 win over Cardiff City with Ghanaian midfielder Malachi Boateng playing the full 90 minutes. His compatriot Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu also played 80 minutes for the hosts in an impressive victory.

At Bolton, Jordi Osei-Tutu completed the full game as the Trotters drew 2-2 with Blackpool in a very tense game. 

Ansu Yiadom was an unused substitute for Reading in their 1-1 draw away at Port Vale. 

In League Two, Crawley Town drew 1-1 with Chesterfield, but Ghana goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott played no part as he was not involved in the match-day squad. 

SPAIN 

In La Liga, it was a six-goal thriller between Real Sociedad and Real Oviedo in game that ended 3-3. Kwasi Sibo played 76 minutes for Oviedo and was yellow carded. 

At San Mamés, Athletic Club earned a 2-1 win over Elche, with Ghana star Inaki Williams playing 80 minutes. 

Celta Vigo defeated Real Mallorca by 2-0, with Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo completing the full match. He remained solid at the back, helping his side keep a clean sheet.

In La Liga II, SD Huesca lost 1-2 to Mirandés. Ex- Black Meteors star Michael Agbekpornu did not feature as he stayed on the bench throughout the match.

UD Almería edged Cordoba by 2-1. Iddrisu Baba Mohammed was not included in the squad for reasons yet to be disclosed.

AD Ceuta secured a 2-1 victory over Granada CF, with Ghanaian youngster Oscar Naasei Oppong playing 64 minutes for the visitors. 

GERMANY 

In the Bundesliga, Jonas Adjei Adjetey made a cameo feature for VfL Wolfsburg who lost 2-3 at home to Augsburg. 

Union Berlin sealed a 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen. Ghana’s Derrick Kohn played the full 90 minutes for Union, while youngster Ilyas also made a brief appearance. For Leverkusen, Ghanaian winger Ernest Poku came off the bench.

At the RheinEnergie Stadion, FC Cologne drew 2-2 with Hoffenheim, with Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache getting on the scoresheet for the home side.

Mainz’s 1-1 draw with Hamburger SV saw Ghana attacker Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer feature for 87 minutes. 

In another thrilling encounter, Heidenheim drew 3-3 with VfB Stuttgart. Sirlord Conteh came off the bench to score for Heidenheim, while Nikolas Nartey registered an assist for the away side.

In Bundesliga II, Darmstadt earned a 2-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf. Patric Pfeiffer playing the full match.

Elversberg defeated Eintracht Braunschweig 3-1. Jan Gyamerah providing an assist for the home team, while compatriot Aaron Opoku scored a consolation goal for the travelers. 

Stephan Ambrosius excelled in Karlsruher SC’s 3-1 win over Holstein Kiel with a full-time action. 

At the Veltins-Arena, Schalke 04 beat Magdeburg 5-3. Richmond Tachie coming on for the visitors and played only 14 minutes.

Greuther Fürth won 2-1 against Arminia Bielefeld, where Ghana attacker Benjamin Boakye came on in the 60th minute for the away team.

VfL Bochum shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Nuremberg, with Moritz Kwarteng coming off the bench for the homesters. 

Hannover 96 and Dynamo Dresden ended goalless, with Ghana defender Kofi Amoako playing the full 90 minutes for Dresden in a solid defensive outing.

ITALY

Jayden Addai stayed on the bench for Como in their important 0-2 away win over giants Juventus in the Serie A. 

Ibrahim Sulemana lasted the entire duration for Cagliari Calcio in their 0-0 draw with SS Lazio.

Caleb Ekuban scored the second goal for Genoa in their emphatic 3-0 win over FC Torino.

Kamaldeen Sulemana played only 45 minutes for Atalanta in their 2-1 win over champions SSC Napoli. 

In the Serie B, Alfred Duncan featured for 65 minutes for Venezia in their 3-2 victory against US Pescara. 

Emmanuel Gyasi came on in the second half for Palermo during their 3-0 win over Sudtirol.

FRANCE

Terry Yegbe enjoyed full time action for FC Metz in their 0-3 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

Elisha Owusu and Gideon Mensah both played for AJ Auxerre in their 0-3 home loss to Alidu Seidu’s Stade Rennais.

Kojo Peprah Oppong completed 90 minutes for OGC Nice, with Nathaniel Adjei on the bench for FC Lorient, in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Samuel Amo-Ameyaw made a late cameo for Strasbourg in their 3-1 win over Lyon.

Augustine Boakye scored the winner for Saint-Étienne, with Ebenezer Annan also featuring late, in their 2-1 victory against Laval.

Noah Donkor remained on the bench for ES Troyes in their 4-3 win over Pau FC. 

NETHERLANDS 

In the Eredivisie, NAC Breda edged Volendam 1-0, with Andre Ayew, Kamal Sowah and Denis Odoi all completing full minutes for the hosts in a solid display.

At the AFAS Stadion, AZ Alkmaar defeated Sparta Rotterdam by 3-1. Both Ibrahim Sadiq and goalkeeper Jayden Oduro were on the bench

TURKEY

In the Super Lig, Alanyaspor lost by 1-2 at home to Istanbul Başakşehir, with Jerome Opoku playing the full game for the winning side.

Elsewhere, Rizespor lost 0-2 to Kocaelispor, where Daniel Agyei featured throughout for the visitors.

SAUDI ARABIA

Al Akhdoud were beaten 2-4 by Al Qadsiah, with Ghanaian youngster Cristopher Bonsu Baah playing 80 minutes in the game for the visitors. 

SWITZERLAND 

In the Super League, Servette drew 1-1 with FC St. Gallen, and Lawrence Ati-Zigi kept the posts for the away side. 

DENMARK 

In the Superliga, FC Nordsjaelland played out a 3-3 thriller against Vejle Boldklub. Caleb Yirenkyi lasted the full duration, while Prince Amoako Junior and Stephen Acquah also featured for Nordsjaelland.

Still in Denmark, OB drew 2-2 with FC Copenhagen, as Leeroy Owusu remained on the bench for the home team. 

CZECH REPUBLIC 

In the 1st league , Teplice lost 1-3 to SK Sigma, with Benjamin Nyarko managing 61 minutes for the hosts.

Closing the round, Viktoria Plzen held Sparta Prague to a 0-0 draw, where Prince Kwabena Adu made a late cameo for the home team.
