Ghanaian winger Prosper Kasim scored a first half belter to help Birmingham Legion FC win 3-1 at El Paso Locomotive FC to secure three points in the USL Championship.

Tom Soehn's side looked like they would drop points after Justin Dhillon cancelled Dawson McCartney's goal.

But Birmingham continued to press and they were not in line to end the first half on a draw stalemate as Prosper Kasim scored a left-footed shot from a mind-boggling angle on the left to the bottom right corner, after fine work from AJ Paterson.

Although Birmingham fell short on possession, they deserved to take all three points after creating the better chances and firing enough killer shots, with Tyler Pasher scoring the side's third goal to complete the mauling.

Kassim has featured in 11 games, netting once, and grabbing one assist in the ongoing 2024 USL Championship.
