Italian-born of Ghanaian descent Mike Aidoo made his first-ever appearance for Inter Milan in a 2-0 victory over Udinese in the Coppa Italia on Thursday evening.
Aidoo, who received a promotion to the Inter Milan senior team last month, made a cameo appearance when the Black and Blues lads defeated Udinese in the round of 16 of Coppa Italia.
The 19-year-old was introduced into the game in the 88th minute as a replacement for Matteo Darmian to make a dream debut for the Italian Serie A powerhouse.
First-half goals from Marko Arnautovic and Kristjan Asllani helped Inter Milan to progress to the next round of the competition to set up a quarter-final clash with SS Lazio.
Aidoo has already represented Italy at the U17 level and is still eligible to play for Ghana at any level in the future.
The 19-year-old full-back was born to Ghanaian parents in Italy, and he has been tipped as the next big thing in European football.
Mike Aidoo was handed a long-term contract earlier this year to keep him at Inter Milan until the summer of 2027 following his exploits at the club's youth side.
He has been traveling with the team during the UEFA Champions League games and has been named to sit on the bench thrice by Simone Inzaghi.
