The representative of the 19-year-old was full of praises for his client after making his maiden appearance with the Italian giants at the senior level in the Cup contest on Thursday
Italian-born Ghanaian teenager Mike Aidoo has received a laudable plaudit from his renowned Ghanaian agent Oliver Arthur after making his debut with Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia football competition.
The promising teenage sensation made a cameo appearance in his side's 2-0 victory against Udinese in the Coppa Italia on Thursday evening.
Following this indelible feat, his representative has taken to his micro-blogging platform X to eulogize the budding star over his debut outing with the former Italian champions, stating; ''Mike Aidoo, you dreamt, worked on it and it has come true. I’m so proud of you. Congratulation.''
He was introduced into the game in the 88th minute as a replacement for Matteo Darmian to make a dream debut for the Italian Serie A powerhouse.
First-half goals from Marko Arnautovic and Kristjan Asllani helped Inter Milan to progress to the next round of the competition to set up a quarter-final clash with SS Lazio.
Aidoo, who received a promotion to the Inter Milan senior team last month, helped the Black and Blues lads defeated Udinese in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.
Aidoo has already represented Italy at the U17 level and is still eligible to play for Ghana at any level in the future. The 19-year-old full-back was born to Ghanaian parents in Italy, and he has been tipped as the next big thing in European football.
Mike Aidoo was handed a long-term contract earlier this year to keep him at Inter Milan until the summer of 2027 following his exploits at the club's youth side.
He has been traveling with the team during the UEFA Champions League games and has been named to sit on the bench thrice by Simone Inzaghi.
