HJK midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei provided an incredible assist in Wednesday afternoon's Finnish Veikkausliiga clash against IF Gnistan.

The Ghanaian was handed a starting berth and played full throttle at the Mustapekka Areena. Finnish born Gambian forward Momodou Sarr scored an own goal, as the away side opened the scoring in the 2nd minute.

But HJK, who are having a great league campaign this term as they currently sit third on the league log, scored again just 33 minutes later through pacey winger Topi Keskinen.

The away team, therefore, were in need of some inspiration - and found it in some style through Nunoo Sarpei, as he beautifully assisted Keskinen's goal.

HJK went on to win the game 4-0 to lift themselves up to third position in the Veikkausliiga table.

Hans Nunoo Sarpei has been a key figure in the team, although he  is yet to score after featuring in 10 games in the ongoing 2024 Veikkausliiga.
