Kobbie Mainoo, the English-born Ghanaian midfielder, made an impressive start to pre-season as Manchester United secured a victory against Leeds United.

The talented 18-year-old, who has represented England at youth level, played for 45 minutes before being substituted by Charlie Savage. Manchester United sealed the win with two late goals in their match held in Norway.

Mainoo showcased his skills on the pitch, recording 42 touches with an impressive 87.7% passing accuracy. He also completed three successful dribbles out of three attempted.

With his promising performance, Mainoo is expected to feature in Manchester United's upcoming friendly against Olympique Lyonnais.

Last season, Mainoo made his first-team debut for Manchester United in a Carabao Cup match against Fulham. He later went on to make an appearance in the Premier League game against Leicester City.

In addition to Mainoo, his compatriot Omari Forson, who is also part of the Manchester United youth team, also participated in the game against Leeds United.

It is worth noting that former Manchester City youngster Darko Gyabi was also involved in the match, representing Leeds United.
