The 26-year-old is set to undertake his health assessments with the German second division side ahead of his possible transfer move this winter

Ghanaian attacking midfielder  Moritz-Broni Kwarteng is set to undergo medical examinations with German 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf, a report from the German media has claimed.

The former Hamburger SV attacker, currently on the books of Bundesliga outfit VfL Bochum, will be joining the Fortunen if he's given a clean bill of health by their team medics in the coming days.

Sky Germany has reported that the 26-year-old will be landing in Düsseldorf tomorrow to undergo his medicals and will be inking a loan deal with an option of making it permanent upon its expiration at the end of the current campaign.

The report added that an amount of 1 million euros has already been agreed between VfL Bochum and Fortuna Düsseldorf over Kwarteng's transfer deal at the end of the loan contract.

The Merkur Spiel-Arena outfit  are currently planning without their German U-21 international winger Felix Klaus and have set sights on the Ghanaian attacker as his ideal replacement for the rest of the current campaign.

It's understood that the German top-flight campaigners' manager Dieter Hecking is not counting on Kwarteng and is now ready to move him on in this January transfer window.

He has so far featured in 7 league games for VfL Bochum in this ongoing Bundesliga football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the German-born attacker still remains eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage
