The 26-year-old midfield enforcer is set to spent time on the sidelines for a considerable number of periods after undergoing a successful surgical operations to his left knee
Ghanaian midfielder Sabit Abdulai has undergone a successful Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) surgery at Liga Portugal club Alverca.
The former Getafe man picked up the knee injury during their clash with Estrela da Amadora on January 31, 2026 in the Portuguese elite division campaign this term. However, with a successful surgical operations now being taken in already, the ex-Ghana U20 midfield enforcer is set to stay off the pitch for a period of six to seven months.
Before sustaining this injury plight, Sabit featured in 19 games for Alverca across all competitions in this current 2025-26 football season.
He is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana senior national team after featuring for the Ghana U20 & U23 national youth teams respectively.
