Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the Player of the Month award in the Premier League for February.
The 26-year-old has impressed since joining Manchester City during the winter transfer window.
Semenyo has scored five league goals in seven matches for the title contenders, with three of those strikes coming in February.
The Ghana forward found the net in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur F.C. before scoring in wins against Fulham F.C. and Leeds United F.C.
He will face strong competition for the monthly award from several players, including his Manchester City teammate Nico O'Reilly, Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres, Brentford forward Dango Ouattara and Manchester United F.C. striker Benjamin Šeško.
Liverpool F.C. captain Virgil van Dijk is also among the nominees.
Semenyo has been nominated for the award twice this season but is yet to win it.
Semenyo, who was born in England joined Manchester City from AFC Bournemouth for a reported £62.5 million.
