The Finnish club have acquired the signature of the budding talented midfielder on permanent basis from Vision FC.

Ghanaian midfielder Salim Giabo Yussif has joined Finnish top-tier club SJK Seinäjoki permanently after a successful loan stint.

The 21-year-old, who initially joined SJK Seinäjoki on a loan deal from Ghanaian second-tier outfit Vision FC, has signed a contract which keeps him until the end of 2025.

Giabo Yussif signed a two-year contract with the Black and White lads after impressing during his loan spell and has another two-year contract extension option in the deal.

The club's official statement reads “Seinäjoki Football Club has exercised the purchase option in the loan agreement of 21-year-old Ghanaian Salim Giabo Yussif . Yussif, who arrived in Seinäjoki in the spring and winter, was on loan in the 2023 season from Vision FC, which is a youth academy and SJK's cooperation club . SJK has now signed a 2+2 contract with Yussif, which covers the 2024-2025 seasons and includes a two-year extension option.”

The former Ghana youth star has had incredible campaign at the SJK Seinäjoki academy and scored a goal in 17 matches and will earn promotion to the senior team for next season's campaign.

“I am very excited that I can continue playing in SJK! The experience so far has been absolutely amazing and I've enjoyed every moment on the field,” Salim Giabo Yussif told the club's official website in an interview
