Ghanaian youngster Aziz Issah delivered an outstanding performance, registering a goal and an assist to guide FC Barcelona Atlètic to a convincing 3-1 victory over Espanyol B.
Barça Atlètic made a bright start to the game, taking the lead in the 8th minute through Víctor Barberà Moreno to go into the break with a 1-0 advantage.
The hosts returned stronger in the second half and doubled their lead in the 50th minute through Aleix Fernández, putting them firmly in control of the contest.
Issah then capped off his impressive display in the 67th minute, finding the back of the net to make it 3-0 after earlier contributing with an assist in the build-up to one of the goals.
Espanyol B managed to grab a late consolation through L. Castell in the 90th minute, but it was not enough to deny Barça Atlètic a deserved victory.
The goal takes Issah’s tally to four for the season, underlining his growing influence within the team.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian has now established himself as a regular starter, featuring in back-to-back matches after initially struggling for game time during his first loan spell.
With his recent form, Issah is quickly becoming a key figure for Barça Atlètic, and the club could be tempted to activate their option to make his move permanent at the end of the season.
