Ghanaian starlet Bernard Acheampong has joined his Hammarby IF team-mates in Marbella and would be participating in training sessions on Thursday, the Allsvenskan side have announced.
The talented teenage sensation, who is linking up with the Swedish top-tier side from Ghanaian Division Two club Asanska Football Club, is expected to officially ink his deal after he turns 18 later this January.
''17-year-old Bernard Acheampong has arrived in Marbella and will be there during the training camp to familiarize himself with the team. Starting Thursday, he will participate in the men's team's training,'' a statement over his arrival in Spain read.
Bernard has so far been tipped for greatness by those who have honed his talent as a budding star and would be expected to make the grade in the Swedish top-flight.
