Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams nominated for La Liga Player Of The Month for September

Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams has been nominated for the La Liga Player of the Month award for September, following a series of impressive performances with Athletic Bilbao. 

In September alone, Williams logged 285 minutes on the pitch, scoring once and providing four assists, along with completing 69 successful passes over the course of four games.

His contributions have solidified his status as a key player for Bilbao since the start of the season.

To secure the award, Williams will face stiff competition from notable players, including Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona's rising star Lamine Yamal, Carlos Vicente of Alaves, and Lo Celso of Real Betis.

The 29-year-old is also expected to play a crucial role for Ghana in the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifying doubleheader against Sudan next month.
