Ghanaian forward Isaac Atanga made a memorable impact for Aalesunds FK as he scored his first goals for the club in a 3-1 triumph over Molde in the top tier of Norwegian football.
The 22-year-old striker showcased his talent by finding the back of the net twice in the second half, playing a key role in his team's consecutive victories in the Norway Eliteserien. This win comes after a six-match winless streak.
Atanga's goals were particularly significant as they marked his first for Aalesunds FK in seven appearances since joining the club from Goztepe in March.
Aalesunds FK took the lead just before halftime with a well-converted penalty by Moses Ebiye.
Molde had an opportunity to equalize before the break but Sivert Heggheim missed a penalty, leaving them trailing.
In the 57th minute, Isaac Atanga capitalized on an assist from Alexander Andersen, extending Aalesunds FK's lead with their second goal of the match.
Just three minutes later, Atanga completed his brace, once again assisted by Moses Ebiye.
Molde managed to pull one goal back in the 90th minute through Niklas Odegard, but it was not enough to alter the final result. Aalesunds FK emerged victorious with a 3-1 scoreline.
