Hatta Sports Club are the winners of the just-ended UAE National Division One League and got a royal invitation from one of their owners- Sheik Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum- who happens to be the son of Dubai Ruler Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
The lanky midfielder knows it all and has so much experience and exposure when it comes to UAE second-tier and played a huge role in Hatta Sports Club's triumph to make a sensational return into the countries topflight.
The management, technical team and playing body including Furkan Ahmed honored the invitation last Wednesday at the office of the Arab Sports Council who gave them a warm reception and also congratulated them for the success.
The Tornadoes were confirmed champions of the 2022/23 UAE First Division Championship after playing out to a 1-1 stalemate on Saturday with Dubai City at the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium.
Abdullah Mesfer's men finished the league as champions with 75 points- amassed from twenty-one wins, six draws and four loses to mark their return into the Gulf League after two years.
