Ghanaian striker Noah Koffi Baffoe Donkor was on target in Eastern SC's 3-2 defeat to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in round 2 of the AFC Champions League Two Group E on Thursday at the Mong Kok Stadium.

The 31-year-old Baffoe found the back of the net in the 46th minute, just right after recess but his effort was too little too late to at least salvage a point for the Hong Kong side.

Hiroshima set an epic ending to the game, despite Eastern SC pushing men forward for the priceless goal in additional time.

However the Japanese club were resolute at the back and did not allow the hosts to find a breach as they rather headed in the winner through Hayato Araki in stoppage time from a daunting corner forcing the match to end 3-2 in their favor.
