The Finnish elite division club have secured the signature of the teenage midfield enforcer from the Ghanaian talents nurturing outfit, with his deal set to take him through to 2028 at OmaSP Stadion

Ghanaian teenager Emmanuel Asante Junior has joined Veikkausliiga club SJK Seinäjoki from Ghanaian academy side Rumark Football Academy on a two-year contract, with an option of extension to a further year upon the expiration of his current deal, the club have announced.

The 18-year-old is set to spent time with the SJK Academy ranks in order to continue with his development as a budding rising star having already featured in some games with the youth team setup in this just started football season.

A statement confirming his signing reads: ''Seinäjoki Football Club has signed a new player contract with 18-year-old Ghanaian Emmanuel Asante Junior. Asante's contract is valid for the 2026–2028 seasons and includes an option for one additional year.

''He will start for SJK Academy and has already represented SJK in the Academy ranks in a few matches. Asante, who is comfortable as a midfielder, will join SJK from the Ghanaian Rumark Football Academy.

''Welcome to Seinäjoki, Emmanuel!''

Following this transfer switch, Asante would now have his maiden European adventure put under the microscope by the Ghana FA technical handlers for any future call-up with the national football teams.
