The 21-year-old left-footed winger of Ghanaian heritage has extended his stay with the English third-tier campaigners, with his fresh terms set to take him through to 2027 at the Cherry Red Records Stadium
London-born Ghanaian youngster Aron Sasu has signed contract extension deal with League One club AFC Wimbledon, the club have announced.
The talented winger, who joined up with the Dons in the summer of 2021, has developed immensely much to the delight of those at the upper echelon of the Wimbledon-based club after graduating through their academy ranks to the first team so far.

With such a recognizable effort, the club's hierarchy have moved to secure his future on a one-and-a-half-year contract given his remarkable outings in this current campaign.
A confirmation over the retention of the Ghana-prospect winger's services ahead of the summer reads: ''Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, AFC Wimbledon can now confirm its released and retained list. Options exercised: Jake Reeves, Myles Hippolyte , Aron Sasu and Kai Jennings.''

Sasu has made 25 appearances by racking up 4 goals for the Dons across all competitions in this current 2025-26 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the London-born native remains eligible to play for the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars on the international stage, with Norway and England an option too at the senior level.
