Ghana youth international Abdul Aziz Issah opened his goal-scoring account for FC Barcelona B in a five-goal thriller win over Atletic Lleida in a pre-season friendly.
The on-loan Dreams FC attacking midfielder has been a standout performer in the 2025–26 pre-season scrimmages for Barcelona B, and he is expected to build upon that when the season commences.
The 19-year-old registered his name on the score sheet for the youth side of the La Liga powerhouse in the 27th minute when he slotted a well-delivered pass from Toni Fernandez past the Atletic Lleida goalkeeper to double their advantage.
Guillermo Fernández had opened the scoring for Barcelona B in the 19th minute before the Ghana U20 star extended their lead.
However, the visitors reduced the deficit through a penalty committed by young Ghanaian defender Hafiz Gariba, which Nil Suaret stepped up and scored.
Seven minutes after the break, Atletic Lleida restored the parity of the game through substitute Souleymane Sidibe, but a decisive penalty was converted two minutes later by Barcelona's new sensation, Roony Bardghji, ending the match in 3-2.
Aziz Issah was in action with Hafiz Gariba, an 18-year-old centre-back who joined the Barcelona U19 side earlier this year on a free transfer, whilst David Oduro wasn't part of the squad for the friendly.
Aziz Issah rejoined FC Barcelona on another season-long loan deal from Dreams FC after having limited playing time during his earlier stint.
He has already made his debut for the senior national team of Ghana.
