The 24-year-old winger is set to move to the German second division side ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window
German-born Ghanaian winger Christian Conteh is nearing a move to Bundesliga 2 outfit Schalke 04, a report from the German media has claimed.
The ex-Feyenoord Rotterdam flanksman is said to have completed all forms of negotiations with his current suitors and could link up with them in the summer.
According to German tabloid Waz.de, the Gelsenkirchen club should secure the 24-year-old winger given the offer being tabled for his services.
Aside Schalke 04, other interested clubs such as; Hertha BSC and FC Kaiserslautern are also shooting admiring glances at the Ghanaian widesman in a bid to acquire his services this summer.
He has so far netted four and assisted two across all competitions for VfL Osnabrück in this current campaign.
Given his heritage, Conteh remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany U20 youth team.
