VfL Bochum winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei will not feature in the crunch German Bundesliga clash against Darmstadt 98 on Friday night due to a muscular injury.
Checks at Bochum indicate that subsequent tests conducted on the 29-year-old would take a little time over the coming days for him to return to action.
Antwi-Adjei's muscular issue comes as a setback to Bochum, who has been making great strides at the club - featuring in eight Bundesliga games this season.
Prior to their Friday night clash against Darmstadt, head coach of the Undescendables says he's only interested in winning, and nothing else.
"Everything is close together in the bottom half of the table. But I don't look at the table much. We have to make sure we get three points and win as quickly as possible. If we then climb up the table, that is a positive by-product. We won't achieve our goals with just a draw," Thomas Letsch said.
"We basically focus more on ourselves. We want to find solutions with and against the ball. We have to create more scoring chances ourselves and allow even fewer chances on the other side," he added.
